Making a fuss about something doesn’t make you productive.
People like to move. They like to feel relevant. Their brain tells their body to move so they feel like they’re working, even when the brain hasn’t figured out what to do.
Sometimes I see a problem and I know I can’t change the situation by doing ANYTHING, and so I do NOTHING. It’s one of the hardest things to do, really.
The other day a friend was overly worried about something that happened and was going on and on about it. So I asked a simple question:
What are you going to do about it?
Stop putting on a show by making a fuss my friends, there’s hardly a thin line between doing something (relevant) and not.
Either do something or do nothing (relevant). The point is in the relevance.
And just in case you were wondering; YES! I’m saying that it’s okay to sometimes do nothing… ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
